Acting Classes

Fall /Spring Session

Ever thought about being an actor? Well, it's never too late to work on a new idea, talent, hobby or skill! Whether you want to act for fun or make an extra income on the side, this intense curriculum will cover all genres of acting in TV, Film, Theatre and Commercials. For new actors this is a great course to find out what area you fit best. It will also introduce you to acting genres you may not have thought of before! For seasoned actors this is a chance to regroup and review what you have learned by working on your talent, meeting fellow actors and mapping out your next step towards your goal. This intense course is not like any other course in the area! You will be leaning and growing in a comfortable environment! The goal of this course is to uplift, inspire, educate, encourage and assist you with reaching your next goal! Classes are held once a week for only 13 weeks! All students will receive a certificate of completion at the end of the course! You deserve it!

You will learn:

  • The Non-Actor: Commercial

  • The Stage Actor: Theatre

  • The Film and Television Actor

  • Acting Terms used on stage and on set

  • Cold reading

  • Methods of Acting

  • Rehearsal Techniques

  • Improv

  • Auditioning

  • Monologue Techniques

Beginner- No acting experience, never attended acting class or workshop, never worked on set

 

Intermediate-Some experience, performed in small plays or independent film, attended an acting class or workshop.

 

Advanced- Experience in 5 or more live theatre productions, worked on set as a paid actor for independent and/or feature film, has studied acting in school/class and attended workshops/seminars.
